He was the sixth from Adam.
“And Adam ... begat ... Seth....
And Seth ... begat Enos....
And Enos ... begat Cainan....
And Cainan .... begat Mahalaleel....
And Mahalaleel ... begat Jared....
And Jared .... begat Enoch.” Genesis 5:3-18
“Adam,
Sheth,
Enosh,
Kenan,
Mahalaleel,
Jered,
Henoch....” 1 Chronicles 1:1-2
“Enoch, which was the son of Jared,
which was the son of Maleleel,
which was the son of Cainan,
Which was the son of Enos,
which was the son of Seth,
which was the son of Adam...” Luke 3:37-38
He was the seventh from Adam.
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam....” Jude 14

Solution:
Jude simply included Adam in his count, as in: Enoch was the seventh man from Creation. If he had said that Enoch was the
seventh after Adam, then there would be a problem-- but he didn’t.
