The skeptic's confusion:
|
 |
|
Solomon.
"I have given thee [Solomon] a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after
thee shall any arise like unto thee." 1 Kings 3:12
Jesus.
"The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost
parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here." Matthew 12:42
"The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from
the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here." Luke 11:31
"Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3

Explanation:
The part that the skeptic has a particular problem with is: “so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after
thee shall any arise like unto thee” from 1 Kings 3:12. The simple fact is that Jesus Christ is of an eternal generation;
He had no beginning in our frame of time. The verse regarding Solomon is referring to an existence on the earth. Jesus Christ
did not “arise” because He always was. So Jesus Christ is much greater in wisdom and knowledge as God.

"And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in
the last days... Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder
in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD."
Genesis 49: 1, 16-18
