Explanation:
God knows the good and evil which resides in each and every one of our hearts. It is like looking through a clear glass for
Him to view them.
Why would God need to “prove” us, or seek a way to know our hearts? It is because God has always been for open
communication, but the hardness of wicked hearts hides what is inside them. It is just like Adam and Eve in the Garden of
Eden: God knew what they had done, and where they were, but He wanted them acknowledge their evil actions not only to Him,
but to themselves as well.
God created us to communicate with Him. He knows all of our actions before we perform them, yet He still wants us to act
and to speak to Him and others. By putting trials in our paths, God tests our hearts through a refining fire, so that we
may “prove” to Him and everyone else just what rests deep inside us. Our God wants assertive communication with
Him, and He abhors passive-aggressive behavior in His Court.
